A week before a twelve day trip to Europe, the weather started to look very cold-- snow, sleet, rain, etc... I had planned on simply wearing regular knee-high leather boots before I heard about the weather, but I now needed to get some boots that were more 'heavy duty.'
The Trivoli High Boot is my first Sorel purchase. I couldn't be more impressed with these boots! I didn't have enough time to break them in before I left for the trip and knew I was risking sore feet, blisters, etc... To my surprise, the boots were super comfortable and my feet were smiling the whole trip! I didn't get one blister-- in fact, they felt as if I had spent months breaking them in!
The fit was true to size. I am typically a 8.5M and I purchased the 8.5M-- it was a perfect fit! I even had enough room for wool socks and swollen feet after a long day of walking. My feet were 100% dry the entire time, too. Great job, Sorel! If I ever need another pair, I will be returning to your company!

I bought these boots to wear in Wisconsin at such places such as the ski slopes. Sitting near the windows of the chalet watching my daughter in ski school my feet would freeze. I wanted something cute, but warm. These are perfect. They are waterproof, yet fashionable. I have to admit they do look cuter on my daughter who is the same size foot as me. She has longer, skinnier legs than me. Look great with skinny jeans!

Love these boots. Everything I was looking for. I am outside frequently for work and these boots have kept my feet dry and warm. I wear 1 pair of socks and I'm comfortable all day but haven't had too many days below 20 this winter. They are waterproof so I don't worry about walking around in slush. I live in Northeast Ohio and the winters here can be pretty bad. I ordered the carabou(carabou doesn't come in half size so order up if you choose that boot) first but had to return them because they were tooooo clunky and heavy! The Tivoli's are a good weight that I can easily walk around in. I have the high and my daughter has the low and we both love them. True to size and they look good so no need to sacrifice style for function.

I have no issue with the style, fit or warmth of these boots but the tread is so slippery. They have no grip on slick surfaces. I really want to like them but after about 2 months of wear I've had to go and buy another pair of boots because these do not work in the Chicago weather.
I do not recommend this product.

Love my new boots! Living in Chicago means walking a lot -- these boots feel great even after several miles! My feet are warm (but not too warm) and dry even in deep snow, rain, and a mixture of both! Well worth the money!

The Tivoli High Boot kept my feet warm. They were comfortable for the most part, but I think will need some breaking in. Around the outer ankles the boot seam rubbed against my ankle bone.
According to the size chart I should have gone with a whole size up, but I'm glad I went with my normal shoe size, otherwise the boots would have been too big.

I did my research on winter boots & kept coming back to Sorel's. I chose these, because I didn't want fur and was looking for a classic look I'll still like in 5 years. They fit great. I purchased my usual size & there's room for a thick pair of socks. I take the train daily, so there's a lot of outdoor standing time, & these seriously keep my feet toasty! However, I've also worn them all day at work as well, and my feet have not become too hot. The quality is superb! They are surprisingly lightweight, but have durable material and sturdy rubber bottom. I was worried they wouldn't be waterproof, but I've yet to have any wet feet! I love this higher length, as I'd say they come about 2/3 of the way up the lower half of my leg. Slender enough they slide under pants, high enough they keep out snow, etc. and agile and comfortable enough I can walk in them for hours! Best purchase of the year, by far!

Minnesota snow is a mix of ice and slush at this time of year, for which these boots have proved perfect. Waterproof they are! However, long walks on days in the 0-degree range (warm for this winter) have resulted in cold toes. Based on other reviews and the size chart, size 8 1/2 seemed the right size, yet does not allow for heavy socks; and the boots themselves do not provide a significant amount of warmth. I question the -25 degree rating.
Other than warmth, and perhaps being a bit on the small side, I have no additional concerns about the boots. They are sturdy and well made. I would definitely recommend them, with the consideration of moving up a half-size if you live somewhere you want to add an extra layer of insulating socks.

These are great boots! They look super cute & they do what they are designed to do. These boots keep the cold out but also don't make your feet too hot, so it's a nice medium. It's nice that they go up higher on the calf because you don't have to worry about stepping in taller piles of snow. I'd definitely recommend these boots.

My last pair of Sorel boots were 20 yrs old so knowing they are no longer made in Canada I initially had reservations about buying another pair online that are now made overseas. Super glad I went ahead and ordered them. I live where winters can be long and brutal, I can go sockless in these boots! Love!
Now, just make them in the US or Canada and I will be happy!

These boots are attractive, super warm, comfortable, make your feet look smaller and fit true to size. The only downsides are it's tough to get bare-feet in them because the lining gets pulled with your feet and they aren't the best on ice; they are better on mucky, wet, sloppy snow.
And I wear them all the time!

The boot runs a bit narrow, for that reason going up a size may be advisable. I think it is an attractive boot, not clunky, very light weight. I have had many compliments on the style. They are comfortable and warm. I have been using them primarily as an every day go out in the cold running errands boot.

These boots are perfect - they always seem to be warm and dry enough for any weather. They're also much lighter than they appear, making it possible for me to walk comfortably in them all over NYC. It's pouring rain today and my feet feel great!

Love, love, love my new boots!! They are light and very comfortable, they run a little bit large, I always wear 8 and the 7.5 fits perfect on these. They are very well made, I bet these are going to last for many winters.

I have been seeing Sorel boots everywhere and now I know why. They are brilliant. I live in Chicago and most of the winter the streets are covered in slush. I used to ruin my Uggs every couple days and now I have one boot and I love them so much. They are comfortable for long days, look cute in every setting and the selection is incredible. I love the height, the size, and the detailing.

I love these boots! They are very warm and comfortable. Great in the snow and definitely waterproof.
The only negative is that if the bottoms of the boots are wet, they can be slippery on smooth indoor flooring such as wood, tile or stone.

I recently bought these boots because I was sick of having cold, wet feet walking around campus. This was the perfect fix! Sometimes my feet are almost too warm, but I don't see that as a problem in a MI winter. I didn't have any problems with the boots rubbing anywhere and didn't have to break them in, they fit perfectly the first time I put them on!

These are so comfy and waterproof and cute! My only complaint is that it hasn't snowed enough this winter, so I can't justify wearing them every single day.
One note: they are not SUPER warm. You'll need thick socks to keep your toes warm on really cold days. But these will keep your feet dry, and they even have space for those toe warmers if you wanted them.
