I have horses and bought these to go out through the fields to bring horses in in cold and wet weather and to ride in. They work well with my western saddle and are awesomely warm. However this spring I found them not to be waterproof. I called the company and they said they would either replace them or fix them, I feel it came in through the seams and they are suppose to be seam sealed. So I am excited to get them back and continue to use them. I also experienced them to be at least a half size to big as well. But they were great to use on the farm and not look like an idiot going to the grocery after. I am a stylist and get tons of compliments on them everywhere.

I ordered these boots in twill and love the color. I have wider feet and usually wear an 8.5W (sometimes I order a 9 because they're wider) however I called customer support and they recommended ordering a size down, so I ordered the 8. At first they felt tight, but I wore them for about 15 minutes and they loosened just ever so slightly and fit perfect. They're cute, comfortable and warm.

Just got my boots. They are AWESOME!!! I purchased them on sale at the end of the season. They fit true to size and are warm and stylish. Love the colors and stitching; I got the twill color. Everything I expected. Expensive, but worth the investment; truly wonderful boots for Winter weather.

Love these boots. Great fit. Comfortable. Functional. Look great. Perfect for throwing on after snowboarding or for tromping around when it's cold. Yes, buy them.
I normally wear a 7 in other brands - and an 7.5 or 8 in Sorel. I was afraid a 7 would be too small, but from the reviews, I went for the smaller size. Perfect fit with normal socks. (I wouldn't want to wear heavy socks with these boots. They are warm.)
Full Disclosure: I've worn them in cold `15 deg, but not very cold weather yet. Not sure how they perform below 0 deg yet. I get the sense they would be great.

i bought these boots for my daughter and she wore them all day in the house the day she got them. she said "they are the most comfortable boots she has ever owned.

These boots are Functional & hit the FASHION marks too!
I have a hard time buying shoes/boots - 8.5 length & 9 width works. I chose the 9 being told the run "True to Size", I found for length, they were perfect for me (a little short for a 9 I thought, though), and width as well, and I wear a double layer of thin or one good thick pair of socks with them.
They have kept my feet dry and warm as we've been hit with snow, old pair wore out, had to break down and buy a "Good, Long-Lasting, Quality" boots. I tromp through snow drifts with ease, light weight makes this way easier!
Comfort level is top notch!
Would have given a 5/5 on quality, but I am a little leery on the cords that the laces hook through. They may be more durable than they look, but time will tell, as these boots will be worn probably 6 mos. of the year in sub-zero temps and snowfall totals well in the double digits this season.

These boots were WAY too big. I always wear a 7 1/2 but after reading the reviews, I ordered a 7. After tightening the laces as much as possible, I could slip my foot our of the boot without trouble! Beautiful boots, well-crafted but enormous. Unfortunately, I sent them back.

Great looking boots and extremely warm. Only problem is they run large. Even with thicker socks my heels were coming up everytime I took a step. I will have to exchange for a smaller size.

I love these boots sooo much but they are about half a size too big and not true to size. I am a 7 1/2 in every shoe out there and if I knew they ran big I would have gotten a 7. Overall though I love them!

These were a present to myself for my February birthday. I am thrilled I chose this style of Sorels this time! They are incredibly warm, comfortable, and are uniquely stylish! My other pair of Sorels are a simple light weight walking pair, no complaints, but never noticed either! Even over snow pants at our bonfire party, people noticed the new Deco boot style and asked what brand they were! Thank you so much! Canada missed the boat on carrying this style, it was worth ordering online to own this amazng winter boot!

I read the reviews and saw that a lot of people said these run large. I have an average size 8 foot. I called customer service to ask them about the sizing and the rep which was very nice said I would be safe to get the size 7. I was a little apprehensive, thinking the 7.5 would be safer but it was sold out. I took my chances and went with the phone agent's advice and got the 7. I received these in 2 days..Fast! They fit perfect and I am glad I got the 7. If I went bigger, they probably would slip off my heal when walking. Thanks Sorel! The Cate the Great Deco Boot is great! Perfect for our snow blizzard we received this past week.

I got the Cate the Great Deco boots and I love these boots! I've had a pair of men's Caribou boots for about 15 years, and they were my "big snow" snow boots, however they are very clunky, heavy, too wide, etc. Loved the new women's styles here and knew the function would be there. However, I had a few concerns and was pleasantly surprised. I thought with the height of the shaft it would be difficult getting them on with jeans, etc. unless you were a toothpick model, however the shaft is generous and no problem there. The printout size guide was so off, I went with my gut and just ordered my usual size. 9 times out of 10 I'm a 9.5, so I went with that and was glad I did. They are true to size, fit great in the length and there's definitely room for a thick sock if you like, as there should be with a heavy duty snow boot. I actually threw them on barefoot and went out for 3 hours to shovel, walk the dog, etc. and my feet were toasty warm the entire time. PS - neighbors wanted to know where I got the cool boots. :0)

I have read the reviews too bulky, mannish toe, cheap fur…Yes yes and yes….
These boots are made to be worn in the great outdoors or during foul weather.
I wanted something I can easily slip on and off, would keep me warm and dry. This boot is perfect!
I can walk the dog in the woods with complete comfort, during pouring rain and snow.
They look super cute with my yoga pants and I get so many compliments when Im walking my beasties or if Im out at the gym.
Ladies stop me all the time and ask where I got these boots.
They are big and bulky, but they are comfortable and super warm.
Perfect for the northwest fall and winters!

These boots are warm. Super warm. I wore them to shovel snow and it was like having two kittens wrapped around my feet. The last boots I had were from a Canadian company because I figured Canadians know what they're doing when it comes to snowboots, but with these boots I definitely stepped up my boot game. I ordered them a size larger because I figured I would be wearing really thick socks. Don't even do this, you don't need too. That decision was my only regret in buying these boots.

Love these! They almost go to the knee, which is great so you don't get wet pants in the winter. They look great on too. They are pretty bulky and waterproof on the toes, so be prepared for that.

I was so excited to finally get the boots that I thought looked so cute online. When I got them and put them on, I was so disappointed that they were big and looked WAY to bulky...especially at the toe. The fur around the top also looked a little cheap!

These are by far the most comfortable winter / snow / hiking in snow / hockey-watching boots I have ever had!!!! They are light in weight which is important because I have had heavy ones that are too hard to wear! I live in CT and watch a lot of hockey and these boots are extremly warm. Invest in these and you will not be disappointed. I also LOVE the color :-)))
