My teenage daughter picked these out for herself - she's an outdoor girl and she loves these boots. I called to exchange a pair (the ones I had picked out for her :) and was very happy with the customer service. I am going to be sure that all my four girls are sporting Sorel boots for the upcoming year. Thank you.

Very light and comfortable, but not very warm. Also, the sole is fairly thin, so not great for long walks.

I'm in love with the Joplin Mocs! I bought a pair of these because I loved the silver color. I also own a pair of the original Joplin boots. I normally wear a size 8.5, I measured to be a size 9 on the SOREL sizing chart, and I actually own both pairs of Joplins in a size 8. I live in Oregon so I don't wear them with very thick socks. The texturized rubber bottom has served me well walking in dry snow, not so much walking on ice. Overall, an awesome casual-wear fall/winter boot!
I would recommend this product.
