after returning two boots for the wrong size, my husband finally got the right size of boots. they looked awesome. FYI, he wears normally 10.5-11 for other shoes with his bony feet, not he got 10, which is right, not too tight. other than size, we love the boots. they are for daily use than for heavy stormy weather.

The quality of these boots is excellent. From the minute they were on my foot I knew that these boots were worth the money. They are also pretty stylish. These boots have a thick comfortable sole, they are definitely not "dress up" and look sleek and sharp boots, but more the rugged, lumberjack, outdoors kinda look. Especially nice for the fall/winter when the weather is sloppy.
Usually wear a size 12, but an 11 was a great fit.

One other note, is that these boots my be "helpful" for shorter guys. I'm 6'1" so I dont need the extra height, but the soles on these shoes definitely make me feel taller.

I was a little worried about the size of the sole but it looks great. I'm also amazed at the comfort of this boot. I can wear it for hours and it feels like i'm wearing a sneaker. I also get lots of compliments on the way they look. The winter hasn't been too bad since I've had them but they seems very durable. I highly recommend them.

This is truly a quality boot with a very comfortable wear. My personal size is just a bit large; not enough to return. If hiking or walking miles a day I would return for a half size smaller. Please remember that when ordering (I was a know it all and didn't follow the reviews I read about sizes running large)!

I wear a 9.5 or 10 and bought a 9.5 as people review they fit true. I could have got a 9 and have been a bit more fitter. If I had thick socks on I think my 9.5 will be fine for variance.
They look great, they're super comfortable, and I never feel the cold.

Boot is super light and extremely confortable. Call pull off a few different ways to wear it.
As other have mentioned, this boot runs a bit large. Regularly, I wear size 11 boots, but ordered a 10.5 and it fits wonderfully.
Also, the boot is surprisingly warm for not being insulated, but I'm waiting for a truly cold day to test them out.

These boots are very sturdy and excellently made. They are very durable and fashionable. Receive many compliments and am very enthusiastic in sharing how well constructed the soles are.
Have worn them in a major snow storm this week and they appear to be holding up in the waterproof department!
Good value and good purchase. These are well worth the money for the good workmanship.

Bought these boots for stomping around on rainy and snowy days. Right out of the box they are very comfortable and continue to feel better everytime I wear them. They are pretty light weight given the style of boot they are. Would highly recommend them for someone who wants a stylish and functional boot. I generally wear size 11.5 in athletic shoes and dress shoes, ordered a half size down (11) and they fit perfect.

Following the advice of other reviewers I bought a half-size smaller than I normally would. It's definitely the way to go, my boots fit great and feel incredible. The leather is beautiful and supple. I definitely recomend these boots.

Recently moved from North Carolina to Boston for work. Got the Kitchener frost for snow (love them) but no opportunity yet to wear in snow. I walk two miles to work each day along the Charles, and needed more of a boot to do the walk. Got these yesterday and just walked 4 miles in them. Not only are they really cool looking, but they are perhaps the most comfortable shoe I have owned. With slacks the black ones look great. I was having pain in foot and knee on my walks to/from work - got none of this while walking in these boots today(I know sounds crazy). Tread has great traction, leather very soft. I am an 11, ordered 11 and it fit fine. Am going to immediately order another pair in another color

I bought them for my Fiance for a work boot. He is a true size 12 but knew sorels run a tiny bit large so we got an 11 1/2. They fit him perfect and work great in the hot weather. He is a carpenter and needs long lasting durable boots. So far these are great!

I've paid a lot more for boots I've liked a lot less! These boots look even better on than they do in the pictures. They are easy on/off, and require no break-in period. They're also a great weight. Some boots are too heavy and won't be good in the in-between seasons. Not these. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

These boots look better in person than they do in the picture. The leather quality is remarkable and they are possibly the most comfortable boots I own. The size does run just a bit large. Also an important thing to be aware of is THESE BOOTS ARE NOT INSULATED. There is no form of insulation anywhere on these boots so if you're looking for a cold weather winter boot then best look at a different style. If you just want a pair of beautifully made boots that will have your friends wondering when you became such a fashionista these are the ones!

Great boot. Nice quality and overall great styling. My only advice is to order a half-size smaller than your normal size. I feel they fit slightly larger than expected. They also keep your feet pretty warm, surprisingly. They're quite comfortable as well.
The Chipmunk brown leather has some nice character to the leather. They don't take very long to break in. Highly recommended.
