This is a very comfortable boot. It has been a little bit hot, but what do you want from an 8" boot in the summer? Leaving the top ring unlaced fixed that problem.

i had major knee reconstructive surgery following a car accident 8 yrs ago, and wearing these shoes with some wool insoles i ordered are da bomb. they feel so good i can stand all day and still feel free of pain by evening.
they have a great look too. most people think they're short sperry's, then when my pant leg goes up they see it's a boot.
the quality of upper leather is 'good' and not 'excellent'. it feels nice and it's pliable. not sure how many years they'll last the way I like to use them. I use them as all-type shoes, for everyjob. and the leather, when scratched across concrete tears the over-layer off with the color on it and exposes an under-layer of a slightly diff color.
If I kept them as nice shoes used for special outings, then i understand they're perfect. yet as everyday shoes, they're extremely comfy and i love showing them off. just that i noticed the light scrapes the leather gets sometimes has made me ask if they're polyester instead of leather. there's a tag in the tongue that says "warm lining 100% polyester" and i've often thought, "what if the whole boot is polyester?! it doesn't says anything about leather." but reading the stats above and smelling inside :)

They are solid, rockin boots. EASY to lace up, i like the laces, i love the soft and flat soles, i like their movement; i feel grounded and even sexy.
Thanks Sorel. My knee thanks you too. These boots are a testament to your amazing customer service as i had challenges with a diff pair and they replaced them for these without question.
oh, i wear an 8.5sz usually, and these fit great at a sz 8 (or even a 7.5). So i ordered the 8's and my foot slides a little, yet i live in winter country 1/2 the year, so this extra room is perfect for thicker socks.
I would recommend this product.

I love the boot and wear them for work and play. It is comfortable and looks nice. I plan on buying a pair of the Chukka's next with anouther pair of these boots in a different color to follow. Great product. I bought a size 11 but wear a 11.5 to 12. The size 11's fit perfect.
